Our ancient ancestors gathered together in circle for thousands of years. The Moon represents Feminine energy - the ebb and flow of life, cyclical spiral nature, intuition, emotion, and surrender. A Moon Circle is a gathering of women who come together to connect in community, restore & heal, be nurtured & supported, and otherwise create a magical experience.

Are you wondering who Hygeia is?

As the Goddess who prevented illness, she gave her name to the modern concept of hygiene. Hygieia comes from a family that was broadly responsible for the healing arts. Hygeia was typically depicted as a young woman feeding a snake, that was often depicted as drinking from the bowl (container) that she held. Her bowl with the snake is one of the typical symbols of Ph*rm*cy.

In Hygieia’s worship, the Greeks connected the idea of physical and mental wellbeing. Hygieia protected the mind as well as the body. Pregnant women often made offerings to Hygeia. In ancient times childbirth often resulted in the death of mother and/or child…. Votives were offered in gratitude for protecting both mother and child during labor and birth.
