Cool taps meet fuego Latin beats 🕺💃

Whether you’re here to cool off the heat, or turn up the heat on the dance floor, or both—this night is for you.

On Sat May 23rd, we’re bringing the Latin heat to Lakesider Brewing, no partner or experience needed.

We’ll kick things off with a 30-minute beginner Bachata lesson led by Bree & James at 7 PM—so you’re grooving from the moment you arrive. Then turn up the energy with a Zumba demo led by Maya that’ll have the whole room buzzing—followed by an open dance floor spinning salsa, bachata, merengue, and reggaeton all the way till 9 PM.

EVENT PARTICIPANT WAIVER, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & PHOTO RELEASE

Welcome, and thank you for joining this event.

By attending and participating in this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in social dancing, workshops, and related event activities involves some inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, minor physical strain, or other accidental injury.

I voluntarily choose to participate and assume responsibility for any risks associated with my participation.

2. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Baila Kelowna Production Inc., its organizers, instructors, volunteers, sponsors, and venue partner including Lakesider Brewing, Glow and Work It Mama by Maya Bennett from claims or liability arising from my participation in this event, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

3. Personal Responsibility

I agree to participate within my own physical abilities, exercise reasonable care, and take responsibility for my personal wellbeing and belongings during the event.

4. Photo & Video Consent

I understand photographs and video may be taken during the event for community sharing and promotional purposes.

By attending, I grant permission to Baila Kelowna Production Inc. and Glow and Work It Mama by Maya Bennett to use my image or likeness in event photos, videos, and promotional materials without compensation.

If I prefer not to appear in identifiable promotional photos, I will notify the event organizer.

5. Acknowledgment

I have read and understand this waiver and voluntarily agree to these terms.
