𝗙𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘂𝗽 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 continues! 🎉The 27th edition of the event brings together three remarkable personalities who will share their experiences with failure and resilience.
Speakers:
🎤 Richard Joannides is the founder of Verita International schools in Bucharest and Athens, which serve over 2,500 students and more than 400 employees in several accredited campuses. Before turning to education, Richard spent two decades as an entrepreneur and investor in real estate, tourism and hospitality. His transition to education was triggered by a deeply personal turning point—when outward success no longer aligned with inner truth. What began as a personal reconstruction became a living expression of purpose: an educational community based on compassion, curiosity, and truth. Today, Richard continues to connect entrepreneurship and education, promoting resilience, empathy, and well-being as essential elements of leadership and learning.
🎤 Lavinia Chițu is a sign language interpreter and one of the most active voices in Romania in promoting accessibility for deaf people. Raised in a deaf family, she learned sign language since childhood and turned this experience into a life mission. She has fought for the rights of the deaf community, contributing to important legislative changes, and being involved in educational and cultural projects dedicated to inclusion. In 2019, he translated the first accessible concert for deaf people in Romania, and in 2024 he performed on stage at concerts by international artists such as Coldplay, Rita Ora, Jessie J, Lenny Kravitz and Sam Smith.
🎤 Aleodor Tabarcea is one of the active leaders of the Bucharest tech scene, involved in training the new generation of engineers and reforming the local community towards product creation. He is currently the Engineering Manager at Stripe, where he leads the Operator Tooling team, building internal platforms used on a global scale to automate risk processes, money laundering, terrorism, and more. He started with leadership early, at just 24 years old he became a manager for the first time — an experience that would completely redefine his relationship with work, teams and the idea of success. Today, he is a mentor for startups, NGOs and students, convinced that leadership is only learned when you have the courage to make mistakes, get up and try again.
The three speakers will talk about their professional failures and how they contributed to their career development, but also as individuals, key moments that influenced their professional trajectory and brought them valuable conclusions for the future. Participants will be able to extract useful lessons from the speakers' experiences, then they will be able to address their curiosities directly, in interactive question and answer sessions.
The event is aimed at young entrepreneurs, those working in corporations or freelancers, Millennials or Gen Z, early adopters, people with a visionary and innovative spirit.
