Join For the Love of Zouk at the Brazilian American Cultural Center in DC on Saturday, March 1st. Workshop 6:30-7:30 pm with Ryan Morfei and Amanda Grace:
Bring the Drama: Incorporating theatrical and expressive elements in your social dancing. In this lab-style experiential learning workshop, you will take part in exercises designed to help you come out of your shell on the social dance floor, focused on creativity, expression and building confidence to take risks.
Level Requirements: for this workshop, students should be comfortable executing Brazilian Zouk fundamentals such as Basico, Bonus, Simple Turn, Lateral, Viradinha, and Soltinho. Knowledge of headmovements is not required. *If you are not sure about your levels fit for this workshop, please reach out to an instructor*
Social dancing 7:30- 10:30 pm
Tickets: $15 workshop or social only, $25 for both
