We are having our first clothing swap in collaboration with the beautiful Cece Valo who reached out about doing this wonderful idea. If you have gently used or new clothing items, and/or outdoor accessory that have just been taking up space or collecting dust in your closet/room, bring them to this fun event and have your items serve someone else. And in the process you can pick something “new” to you. You can swap the same or less number of items you brought; who knows, you might find your next favorite sweater, shirt or that very needed hiking accessory. Or just bring the items to donate. Items that are not taken through the swaps will be donated by Cece to Menlo Park Methodist Episcopal Church. This is a fun way to “shop for new items” without going into your pockets! It helps with reducing waste into our beautiful planet, helps those in need, and you partake and support a great fun event idea that builds community.
After, those who would like to join me for a brisk walk on the Bay Trail for 6-8 miles 🙂. Trust me, you WILL break out a sweat :). Hope to see you there beautiful people.
Where: Hayward Regional Shoreline Parking Lot - 3010 West Winton Ave, Hayward, CA
Time: 8:30-9:30 Clothing Swap followed by a 6-8 mile brisk walk at 10:15am on the Bay Trail.
