Yasutomo Chikuma
Born in 1983, he started his film career as an actor in 2004, and later directed his debut feature “Now, I…” (2009). In 2011 he wrote the script for “Ninifuni” by Tetsuya Mariko, which was selected for the Locarno Film Festival. His second feature, “The Ark in the Mirage” (2015), premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Then he wrote and directed “Two Silhouettes” (2020), a mystical love story. In 2022, he released “As It Flows”.

Sergio Checa (Alicante, Spain) lives and works in Madrid. He holds a degree in Drama and Acting and has completed master’s training in Fiction, Screenwriting and Directing. His work includes Dafne y Pol (2026, upcoming release), Frío en las manos (2025), awarded at multiple festivals, and Calcetines (2025), winner of several national prizes. Other titles include Tenetis and Te doy mi voz (2024). As a screenwriter, Dios te salve María (2023) received international awards.
