Come and learn how to prune your fruit trees, to make sure you are getting the most from your trees.At these workshops, we will be focusing on Plums but people can bring all their questions about pruning other trees. The techniques we teach are applicable to other trees as well.
It's a beginner-friendly workshop, but if people have previous experience they can still come and help prune the trees at the community centre. We will have some spare tools, but please bring your own tools if you can.
We will cover the very basics of pruning, tool maintenance, disease prevention and common mistakes.
Come give us a hand to help feed our community with local supply chains.
