James Batton is a consulting horticulturist and arborist dedicated to helping individuals and organizations improve landscape health. With expertise in plant health—including trees, shrubs, grasses, soils, and cultural practices—he provides insightful guidance to address a wide range of horticultural challenges.
James brings a wealth of experience from his diverse background as a Consulting Arborist, landscape contractor, landscape designer, certified arborist, greenskeeper, past president of the Utah Community Forest Council, water feature designer and installer, horticultural research assistant, and estate gardener.
Currently, he shares his knowledge as the host of The James Batton Show, a horticultural YouTube channel where he educates viewers on best practices for plant care and landscape management. Additionally, he teaches at Red Butte Gardens and lectures for various organizations, continuing his mission to promote healthy and sustainable landscapes.
