There’s nothing quite like a winter walk through the woods—the crisp air, the quiet stillness, and the satisfying crunch of snow under your feet. Add stunning frozen waterfalls, flowing icy streams, and great company, and you have the perfect cold-weather adventure!

• Register, and we’ll email detailed information on what to bring and where to meet.
• Take Metro-North or drive to the Poughkeepsie Train Station, arriving by 10:58 AM.
• Your guide will meet you there and handle transportation to all activities.
• You’ll return in time for the 5:50 PM train back to NYC at the latest .

• 10:58 AM – Pick-up at Poughkeepsie Train Station
• Travel to Awosting Falls for a scenic winter hike
• Lunch at Rino’s, the Hudson Valley’s #1 pizzeria
• A quick stop at a local Farm Stand for fresh baked goods.
• Private bonfire with Mulled wine, hot apple cider, cider donuts & real hot cocoa
• Depart for train (4:50pm or 5:50pm)

• About the Hike
• We’ll walk mostly on wide carriage paths (flat gravel roads) with a few gentle inclines. Trails may have light snow or icy patches. Total distance: about 2 miles. Difficulty: 3 out of 10.
  If conditions require it, we provide microspikes.
