About this Event
The world famous polish composer Chopin visited Scotland in the early part of October 1848, and became the guest of Lord and Lady Belhaven at Wishaw House. Guest speaker Gerry Carr explores the chain of events leading to Chopins, fascinating visit to the grand houses of central Scotland. Celebrating Chopin’s time in Scotland and the deep cultural ties between our two nations. Some of the music that Chopin played in Scotland will be used tell the story.
