From The Stem Up Conference 2026

From the Stem Up returns for its second year as a dynamic two-day conference hosted by Gilgandra Preschool Inc, designed for professionals working with children who are passionate about understanding how young minds grow, learn and thrive.

This year, the conference expands to include dedicated breakout sessions on Day One, featuring a diverse line-up of respected speakers including Beth Borowsky, Catharine Hydon, David Morphett, Ella De La Motte, Adrian Pattra-McLean, Caryn Walsh, Dr. Louise Porter, and Sandi Pheonix.

Day Two features a full day keynote with internationally recognised neuroscience educator Nathan Wallis from Conscious Intelligence.

Nathan is a New Zealand-based international presenter with a reputation as a lively and engaging speaker. Using humour and plain language, he condenses more than twenty-five years of neuroscience research into his unique tell-you-how-it-is style. Expect to be captivated, challenged and to walk away with more than a few “ah-ha” moments.
