From the Eight-Hour Day to the Four-Day Week

An event to discuss the history of struggles over working time and to contemplate their relevance to present and future campaigns. It will include the launch of a new book by Sean Scalmer, A Fair Day's Work: The Quest To Win Back Time (Melbourne University Press, 2025), but also use the book as a springboard to discuss contemporary struggles.
