Revd Professor David Wilkinson is a professor in the Department of Theology and Religion at the University of Durham and has PhDs in astrophysics and systematic theology.He is a regular contributor to Radio 4’s ‘Thought for the Day’ and has lectured and written widely on the relationship between science and religion. He is Project Director of ECLAS (Equipping Christian Leadership in an Age of Science).
His recent books include ‘God, Stephen Hawking and the Multiverse: What Hawking Said and Why it Matters’ (SPCK, 2020) and ‘How Does God Act in the World?’ (Wipf and Stock, 2025).
David’s lecture will be followed by Q&A and refreshments. This is a free event, donations are welcome.
