Geospatial Series
If you have data in a spreadsheet that you need to map, this workshop will help you understand how to proceed.
We’ll look at spreadsheet formatting, creating point locations from tabular data, and adding tabular data to existing mapped features.
We’ll also shed some light on the parts that are often confusing! The workshop will focus on ArcGIS Pro, but guidance for other GIS platforms will be shared.
Presented by Janet Reyes, Geospatial Information Librarian
Janet Reyes joined UCR Library in 2016 as its first Geospatial Information Librarian. Her key responsibility is to provide support for geospatial resources and tools. Janet has presented workshops on more than a dozen geospatial topics. She holds a B.S. in Natural Resources from Cornell University and an M.S. in Geography from Oregon State University.
