About this Event
Book Talk meets Inner Growth Workshop
Many of us have a nasty little voice in our heads criticizing everything we do. When we listen to it, we shrink back from creativity, connection, and leadership, and we can spiral into doubt, imposter syndrome, or even depression. But when we work with those inner voices differently, we can live into the generative, courageous vision that our world needs most today.
Rosi Greenberg offers a powerful new workshop to shift those critical inner voices into powerful allies, to help people find self-love and step into leadership. Rosi uses storytelling and reflective exercises to enable participants to meet their own critical voices and find new ways of working with them. She leads us to see the systemic factors that create these inner voices so we can point the critique where it’s really needed. Most of all, Rosi facilitates powerful ‘aha’ moments of facing this phenomenon together in healing community, rather than alone.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to understand the personal and systemic origins of that critical internal voice, receive its positive intent while saying NO to its negative impact, and offer themselves a new, more loving inner voice. Participants will leave with new perspectives and practices for relating to the critic, and additional steps to take to move forward in leadership.
Ideal for anyone who has an inner critic or works with people who do, including therapists, teachers, counselors, peer recovery specialists, nonprofit leaders, managers, organizers, artists, and more.
Based on the book Everyone Has a Sam: Meeting the Inner Critic and Rewriting the Rules
