From Scraps to Sustainability: Green Organics Solutions

Ready to turn your kitchen scraps and garden waste into something useful?

Join Onkaparinga’s Waste and Recycling Education Team for a fun, hands-on workshop. You’ll learn easy and practical ways to cut down on waste, help the environment and save money all while meeting others in your community.

In this workshop you’ll:

· discover how you can make tasty snacks from food scraps

· get helpful tips on composting

· different composting options like worm farms, compost bins, and Bokashi systems with displays and demonstrations.

You’ll also have the chance to hear what others in your community are doing to reduce waste, along with their best tips and tricks. Feel free to ask questions and find out how to start or improve your composting at home. Plus, you’ll get to taste some delicious food made from what many would consider to be food scraps.

You’ll leave the workshop feeling inspired, informed, and ready to make simple changes that reduce waste every day!
