The newly-formed community group, Residents for a Deflocked Quincy, will host a panel discussion Sunday, June 7 from 2-4 PM at the Crane Public Library in Quincy Center, MA (40 Washington Street).Three panelists from the ACLU, Muslim Justice League and Digital Fourth will discuss the real impacts of Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology on the community, how the devices work, issues related to the data they generate and how they relate to the Boston Regional Information Center (BRIC).
The event is open to the public, but with limited seating.
