From Research to Action: How ‘Care-Full’ Is Your Institution?

We’re delighted to share details of our upcoming workshop, From Research to Action: How ‘Care-Full’ Is Your Institution?, which will take place following the morning’s report launch event.

This interactive two-hour session will help participants translate the report’s recommendations into meaningful institutional reflection and action. Working in mixed groups, participants will:

• Use our new Care-Full Institution Audit to assess current practices supporting staff with caring responsibilities.
• Identify areas of strength and development within institutions.
• Develop a realistic, high-impact action plan to foster a more care-inclusive culture.

The workshop is designed for senior university leaders, researchers, policy representatives, and those interested in making change happen within the care/academia sector, and aims to generate tangible outcomes - including evidence of engagement and clear next steps for institutional change.

We strongly encourage you to also attend the morning report launch event, where the findings and recommendations that underpin the workshop will be presented. This will provide valuable context for the afternoon’s reflective and action-oriented discussions.
