About this Event
Join us on April 16th for an evening of networking with local property professionals.
This month, Dion Wright will share how he went from 14 years in the steelworks to building Booking Hub, a UK wide platform connecting companies that need accommodation with property owners who can supply it.
Dion is a property entrepreneur from Port Talbot, South Wales and the founder of Booking Hub.
But it didn't start with a platform.
It started with redundancy looming and no money to buy property the traditional way.
Rather than waiting until he could afford to purchase houses, Dion took a different route. He used creative strategies like rent to rent and lease options to generate cashflow. But the real shift came when he flipped the model on its head.
Instead of chasing properties first, he focused on demand.
He found companies and contractors who needed accommodation near projects, then sourced the properties to house them. That approach led to building a serviced accommodation management business and eventually the creation of Booking Hub.
Today, the platform connects companies with suitable accommodation across the UK. Recently, it secured a 12 month booking for 20 workers in London, showing exactly how property owners can earn more by supplying accommodation for business clients and long stay teams.
This isn't a story about buying 50 houses.
It's a story about spotting a gap in the market, building a business around real demand, and creating a model that works for property owners and corporate clients alike.
At PPN Bromley, Dion will be sharing:
- How he started in property with no capital and no portfolio
- Why he focused on demand before supply (and why most investors get this backwards)
- The creative strategies he used to build cashflow without buying property
- How Booking Hub works and how property owners can tap into corporate accommodation
- The reality behind landing a 12 month, 20 worker contract in London
- What the corporate accommodation market looks like right now and where the opportunities are
If you're looking for new ways to generate income from property, or you want to understand the corporate accommodation space, make sure you join us on 16 April at PPN Bromley. Doors open at 6.30pm.
