Real-world dog training grounded in nervous system regulation, impulse control, and communication that holds under pressure.
About this Event

This is not a typical “dog yoga” class—and it’s not obedience training.

This session is built for dog owners who want real-world behavior that holds under pressure, not temporary compliance. You’ll learn how to read your dog accurately, understand the patterns driving their behavior, and begin creating calm, reliable responses through nervous system regulation and structured impulse control.

Most behavior issues—pulling, reactivity, inability to settle, constant stimulation—are not random. They are predictable patterns driven by your dog’s internal state. In this session, we break that down clearly and practically.

You will leave with a direct understanding of your dog, not guesswork—and a clear starting point for change.

What This Session Focuses On
  • Recognizing your dog’s behavior patterns in real time
  • Understanding the difference between arousal, avoidance, fixation, and self-soothing behaviors
  • Learning how your own state influences your dog’s behavior
  • Building the foundation for impulse control through calm—not force
  • Receiving an individual assessment of your dog with actionable insight

What Makes This Different
  • No group chaos, no forced socialization
  • No overuse of commands or constant correction
  • No “one-size-fits-all” training methods

This is structured, observational, and intentional work designed to create lasting behavioral change—not temporary control.

Individual Dog Assessment (Included)

Each participant will receive a brief, focused evaluation of their dog, including:

  • Baseline nervous system state (calm, elevated, or suppressed)
  • Arousal threshold and reactivity level
  • Recovery time after stimulation
  • Engagement style (connected, independent, avoidant)
  • Identification of your dog’s primary behavior pattern

You’ll leave with a clear, direct understanding of:

What your dog is doing, why it’s happening, and where to start.

Who This Is For
  • Dogs that are overexcited, reactive, or easily overstimulated
  • Dogs that struggle to settle or relax in new environments
  • Owners who feel like their dog is “not listening” under pressure
  • Anyone looking for a more advanced, grounded approach beyond basic obedience

No prior yoga or training experience required.

What to Expect
  • Calm, structured outdoor environment with space between dogs
  • Guided human nervous system reset work
  • Real-time observation and coaching
  • Simple, grounded yoga-based positions (chair option)
  • Practical, no-nonsense instruction you can apply immediately

What to Bring
  • Flat collar or harness (no retractable leashes)
  • 6-foot leash
  • Yoga mat or towel or chair
  • High-value treats
  • Water for you and your dog

Important Notes
  • Dogs remain on leash at all times
  • This is a non-social class—no greetings between dogs
  • The focus is calm presence and behavior awareness, not play

Outcome

By the end of this session, you will:

  • Clearly recognize your dog’s behavior patterns
  • Understand how to influence those patterns through your own state
  • Have a defined starting point for building calm, reliable behavior in real-world environments
