Throughout the Student Assignment Process (SAP), engagement from South DeKalb—both in meetings and survey responses—has been significantly lower, at roughly 40% of the participation levels seen in North DeKalb. That gap does not reflect a lack of concern. It reflects a need for stronger, more visible engagement.
