From Field to Form: Cave Data Collection Hike

Come along with board member Carla Striegel-Winner on a field hike to learn how to collect cave data and fill out report forms for our sister organization, the Indiana Cave Survey (ICS). We’ll hike to a cave feature and walk through what data to gather, how to record it in the field, and how it all fits into the ICS database. This is a hands-on, learn-by-doing outing—perfect for anyone interested in helping document Indiana’s caves.

Optional dependant on interest: participants may reconvene afterwards at a local wifi spot to work on finalizing forms together.

Registered particpants will receive more details, including exact meeting location. Event is rain or shine.
