«From Earth to the Stars»Introducing Ira Igo and Orikey Uverse, two young Russian artists currently in Saigon who share their interpritation of the world around them in a joint exhibition.
Ira Igo, a contemporary modern-artist, started her artistic journey in Moscow after completing art school and University of Arts and Pedagogical. A move to Vietnam 1.5 years ago further feulled her creativity, inspired by the rich and vibrant nature of the country. Her work is a kaleidoscope of colours and natural motifs, using acrylic, watercolour, oil and graphic mediums to potray the world around her.
Orikey Uverse specialises in oil painting, using this medium to express her feelings towards a city that initially left her feeling adrift and disoriented. Her works depict the cosmos, which offers her a sense of solace and belonging, and are often accompanied by titles inspired by musical notes, offering her meditative reflection during life’s more trying moments. Occupying a space in the NFT community, Orikey is known as "The Creator of Universes," a testament to her ability to engage viewers with cosmic inspiration.
