The Midlands Greenhouse exists to encourage pastors and strengthen gospel ministry across our region. Our next gathering will focus on how faithful preaching shapes churches that both proclaim Christ and love their communities well.Join us as Dr. Eric J. Freeman leads a discussion on how gospel preaching can cultivate churches that move from conversion to compassion—proclaiming the gospel clearly while engaging real needs in our communities.
Dr. Freeman is the Founder and Senior Pastor of The Meeting Place Church of Greater Columbia, where he has helped lead the development of a 23-acre campus serving both spiritual and community needs. He is also a Christian bishop, community advocate, and social impact strategist who works with faith and civic leaders to strengthen communities.
Dr. Freeman holds degrees in Financial Management from the University of Florida, Theological Ethics from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, and a PhD in Social Ethics and Homiletics from Anderson University. He has also studied leadership at Cornell University and continues advanced studies at Harvard University.
This will be a time for pastors and ministry leaders to gather, learn, and encourage one another in leading churches toward faithful gospel mission.
