Darwin / NT time: 10:00am–12:00pmPlasticine Character Masks
From Colour to Mask – School Holiday Art Workshop (Darwin)
A calm, hands-on children’s art workshop in Darwin where colour exploration becomes sculpture.
In this Montessori-informed studio session, children begin by exploring primary colours and colour mixing, then design a character and sculpt a mini plasticine mask to bring their idea to life.
This creative process connects drawing, colour theory and sculpture, encouraging imagination, storytelling and confidence in artistic expression.
In this workshop children will:
• Explore primary colours and colour mixing
• Draw and design their own character
• Sculpt a plasticine character mask
• Develop fine motor skills and creative confidence
Small studio group learning allows each child time to explore their ideas in a calm creative environment.
