From Click to Compose – Paint The Dark 🎨📸
This isn’t your average photo meetup.
On June 6th at 6:30pm, we’re taking over Rio Salado Park for a hands-on light painting workshop — and the results are genuinely unlike anything you’ve shot before. Think bold color, electric motion, and images that make people stop mid-scroll and ask “how did you DO that?”
Special guest photographer Maggie Mayper will be on site walking you through the technique in real time. We’ll be working with the incredible Melanie Dean as our model, and we’ll have colored LED lights and everything you need to jump in and start creating from minute one.
Bring your camera. Bring a friend to shoot with — or volunteer them as a model.
Come ready to experiment, get a little weird with it, and leave with portfolio shots you’ll actually be proud of.
No experience with light painting required. Just show up curious.
