Want to make a perfect sustainable gift for Friendsgiving this year? Have too many plastic bags from the store? Bring them and learn to make friendship bracelets!
It’s inevitable in this day and age to end up with at least a small collection of plastic bags from the store, so instead of throwing them out, let us teach you different ways to create bracelets and even weave the scraps together. They’re the perfect waste-free way to let your friends know they matter!
BYOB: Bring Your Own Bags We will provide some, but there is limited supply!

Want to craft but don’t know where to start? Miss that summer camp vibe from years ago? Come join Blue Heron Nature Preserve's adults-only craft club, where we celebrate creativity and encourage sustainable practices. You’ll get the feeling of summer camp again (without the endless hours in the sun!)
Led by our own educators, Mac and Dusk, each meetup offers approachable projects, encouragement, and plenty of space to experiment.

- Using natural, recycled, or repurposed materials
- Upcycling old items into new creations
- Practicing simple mending and maintenance skills to extend the life of everyday items
- Working with eco-friendly supplies
- Reducing waste while sparking innovation
Each craft is a reminder that small choices can add up to a big difference for the Earth.
Pay-What-You-Can: All meetings are donation-based, with contributions helping cover the cost of supplies and keeping Craft Camp accessible to everyone.
Bring a Friend: RSVPs are requested to help us & you with planning, but walk-ins (and tagalongs!) are welcome too.
