Friendsgiving Poetry Slam

Featuring Phatmak and hosted by Comedian Rob Love, join some of the dopest poets in the Memphis & the Mid-South and beyond for a #FriendsgivingPoetrySlam. In round one, poets will share poems about friends who became family and family who became friends or their experiences opposite of that. Three judges will score poets in three rounds, and the top poet of each round will walk away with $100 (per round). They will also be earning points toward representing Memphis in regional and national competitions, if they choose. An open mic will kick off the night. The open mic is great for those not wanting to enter the slam but still wanting to share poetry. Comedians, singers, etc., are also welcomed.
