For the month of May, we will be visiting Marcy Haas at Sweet Things by Marcy for our monthly event: Friends4Lunch. This month, we are excited to try Marcy’s new menu items and connect with friends on May 8 at 11:30 a.m. These events provide a casual setting for guests, business owners or anyone else to learn more about the Lincoln business and nonprofit scene as well as Strictly Business as a publication.
Sweet Things by Marcy is ran by Marcy Haas, U.S. Navy veteran and Alabama native. What started with a small kitchen designated for southern style desserts has evolved into a breakfast and lunch shop located conveniently inside Culinary Kitchen at 1413 N St. in downtown Lincoln. Situated next to Lincoln Community Foundation’s garden (which is now open and in bloom), Marcy’s walk up window provides quality, delicious options for sandwiches and salads.
We cannot wait to connect with all of you! These events are completely free to attend. All you will pay for is what you eat and drink. With that being said, we are very lucky to be able to host these monthly networking events. So if you come every month, or you’re a first timer for Friends4Lunch, anyone who likes doing great things in Lincoln, is invited!
