The Friends of the Slidell Used Book Public Sale will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 in the Slidell Branch Library meeting room from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm. Several thousand books will be available for shoppers to purchase/browse. There will be something for all ages and interests both fiction and non-fiction. Special sale items will include books in German and other foreign languages, large print books, vintage books, Little Golden Books, specially priced sets of books, and more. Cash and checks only - no debit/credit cards accepted. Sale proceeds benefit the Slidell, South Slidell, Lacombe, and Pearl River Branch Libraries.
