Join us at Ham Green Outdoor Centre as we launch Friends of Lakeside, a new local group for people who love this special place and want to stay connected with it!
To help protect and care for the site, the Lakeside area will soon be locked and accessible by code. This change helps us preserve and nurture the land, making sure it remains a thriving, welcoming space for both people and wildlife.
By becoming part of Friends of Lakeside, you’ll still be able to enjoy the site, connect with your community, and help shape its future. It’s a friendly network of local people who can access the space anytime, get involved in caring for it, and enjoy spending time outdoors together.
As a Friend of Lakeside, you’ll be able to:
- Volunteer in nature
- Share ideas and help shape the space
- Support community events
- Enjoy time outdoors with others
- Access the site with your entry code
Come along and meet neighbours, find out how to get involved, and help us nurture this beautiful place for everyone.
This event is free and open to all local residents. Refreshments provided.
