Friends, Fjord & Tango is a celebration of freedom, connection and dancing on your own terms. Open, creative, and proudly non-traditional—this is tango for the alternative community. If you love dancing both roles with anyone, just being yourself, this is the place for you. New friends guaranteed! We come together in Oslo to share laughter, connect over delicious meals, and enjoy a special trip to Gressholmen island. Look forward to day- and evening milongas, dancing in a space that celebrates openness, creativity, and community.
Expect bold and inspiring DJs from the Scandinavian scene, a live orchestra and the Sunday dance and lunch on the island Gressholmen, with classical tango records on retro gramophone.
We can already revel that DJ Dimitri Tsambrounis will be one of our DJs in 2026!
DJ Orlando is is playing for us on Sunday, as so many times before. We are incredibly grateful for this very special opportunity

The local orchestra Tigertango will play for us.
At 22.00, your feet are tired, the music will stop, and you can have a quiet walk to your hotel through the summer streets of Oslo.

Our traditional and beloved Picnic by the Fjord!
Starting at Aker brygge, enjoy the boat trip to the island Gressholmen. A beautiful walk through the woods on the island takes you to the charming taverna, where you will meet the legendary DJ Orlando with his classical tango records on his retro gramophone. We will dance in beautiful surroundings, and the chef serves the restaurant lunch included in the Festival Pass.
Festival Pass includes:
All milongas, a session of live music with Tigertango, a meal on Saturday, a nice restaurant lunch at Gressholmen kro on Sunday. Water and some snacks/coffee/tea/soft drinks will be available during the milongas.
Price will be decided in february or march.
