About this Event

Join us for a black light event at Friedrich Wilderness Park while learning the iNaturalist app. We'll ID night creatures and as many moths as possible while we build our iNat observation skills. Please be sure to download and setup your iNaturalist account before arriving.

Meeting Spot: We will meet in the parking lot.

Arrive 15 minutes early
Download and setup iNaturalist account before arriving.
Come with a fully charged phone, we'll be making observations!
Bring a flashlight and any ring light you may have.
Check in with event lead.
Wear name badge
Wear appropriate footwear.
VMS entry for 2 hours of AT: AT: Presentations "Participated in iNaturalist Training Black Light Training at Friedrich Wilderness Park, led by Jane Weeden and Briana Rouse."

This event is entirely outside and will be cancelled if there is inclement weather or unsafe conditions exist. Notification of Cancellation of the event will be via email to those registered via Eventbrite.
