Fridge Art Fair is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2025 Miami Beach edition, taking place during Miami Art Week this December.
Faith, Freedom, and Careless Whispers: The George Michael Experience, will take place across multiple vibrant locations throughout Miami Beach, featuring special exhibitions, site-specific installations, performances, and community partnerships.
We are excited to return to both the LGBT Visitor Center, in the heart of South Beach, and Habitat Hyett, on Miami Beach’s famous shopping and entertainment district, Lincoln Road, We are thrilled to announce our newest location, the Palace South Beach on Ocean Drive, famous for it’s iconic drag brunch and rooftop bar. Programming details and participating artists will be announced in the coming months.
Inspired by the music, style, and unapologetic individuality of the iconic artist, this edition pays tribute to George Michael’s legacy as a groundbreaking cultural force whose art and activism continue to resonate across generations. Now in its 13th year, Fridge Art Fair continues its tradition of presenting inclusive, accessible, and vibrant art experiences that blend fine art, pop culture, and community in unforgettable ways.
Visitors can anticipate immersive installations, bold visual tributes, and interactive experiences that channel George Michael’s energy and ethos—from the raw emotion of “Careless Whisper” to the bold liberation of “Freedom! ’90.” Featuring local and international artists, the fair will explore themes of identity, self-expression, love, and the power of pop culture in shaping art.
Founded in 2013 by artist Eric Ginsburg on the principle that “art is for all,” Fridge Art Fair, the boutique, dog-friendly art fair that embraces creativity without boundaries has become known as the fair that doesn’t take itself too seriously—while celebrating serious talent. Past editions have honored such cultural icons as Freddie Mercury, Paul Reubens, Frida Kahlo, and the colorful worlds of pop media, creating playful, approachable environments for collectors, art lovers, and the curious alike. With editions in Miami, New York, and beyond, Fridge offers an ALL-Inclusive space for emerging and established artists to connect with diverse audiences.
And as always—Fridge Art Fair is free to visit! "Can you fit into the fridge?” Submissions are open to ALL.
