2023 Domaine Dupeuble Beaujolais Blanc $23.94
Domaine Dupeuble is one of the oldest continuously operating estates in Beaujolais, with roots dating back to 1512. Today, the domaine is run by Paul Dupeuble along with his children, Ghislaine and Stéphane.
While Beaujolais is best known for Gamay, Chardonnay has a long history here, dating back over 500 years. In southern Beaujolais, limestone-rich soils provide ideal conditions for expressive whites.
This Beaujolais Blanc highlights that heritage—fresh, mineral-driven, and a reminder of why the region’s Chardonnay has long deserved recognition alongside its Burgundian neighbors.
2023 Clos Bateau Beaujolais-Lantignié “Croix Pennet” $55.94
Clos Bateau was founded in 2019 by Sylvie and Thierry after leaving the restaurant world in Amsterdam to pursue winemaking in Lantignié. The estate spans 5.5 hectares across Lantignié and Régnié, with vineyards planted on south-facing slopes of granite soils.
“Croix Pennet” undergoes 11 days of semi-carbonic maceration. The wine is then split between used Burgundy barrels and stainless steel for 8 months before blending, resulting in a layered and expressive Gamay.
2023 Jean-Michel Dupré Morgon $26.94
Jean-Michel Dupré farms predominantly old vines—many approaching 100 years in age—bringing remarkable depth and concentration to his wines. After inheriting his family’s vineyards, he committed to organic farming with a focus on biodiversity and ecosystem health.
This Morgon is 100% Gamay from one of Beaujolais’ most structured crus, offering a deeper, more serious expression of the grape while maintaining vibrancy and freshness.
2018 Alex Foillard Brouilly $39.94
Son of Jean Foillard—one of the legendary “Gang of Four”—Alex Foillard carries forward a legacy of low-intervention winemaking. After formal studies in viticulture and enology, he established his own domaine at just 24 years old, with holdings in Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly.
This Brouilly is made with whole-cluster fermentation and traditional carbonic maceration, then aged 50% in concrete and 50% in barrel for six months, delivering a vibrant yet structured style.
2017 Domaine Chamonard Morgon $52.94
Domaine Chamonard is a historic estate in Morgon, now run by Geneviève and Jean-Claude Chanudet (“Le Chat”). With origins dating back to the 18th century, the domaine farms old vines (60–90 years) on south-facing slopes of pink granite and schist.
The wine is produced from Gamay using whole-cluster fermentation with semi-carbonic maceration at low temperatures, followed by 8–10 months of aging (30% in oak). The result is a classic, soulful expression of Morgon.
2023 Domaine Anita Moulin-à-Vent “Très Vieilles Vignes – Les Caves” $34.94
Founded in 2015 by former professional cyclist Anita Kuhnel, Domaine Anita focuses on site-specific wines with minimal intervention.
This cuvée comes from 65-year-old vines in Moulin-à-Vent, the most structured and age-worthy cru of Beaujolais. A portion (25%) is aged in used Burgundy barrels for 10 months, enhancing texture and highlighting the cru’s Pinot Noir-like character.
