Meditation meets Ecstatic Dance meets Electronic Music.
Every Friday evening we come together for a cozy & meditative dance session at b23 to shake off the tensions of every-day life & connect with our bodies in a mindful & playful way. We start in a circle, enter into our bodies , move through a carefully curated journey of electronic music, and arrive back in silence. No phones, no talking, just us and our bodies moving, feeling, releasing, connecting. Tickets are limited to ensure sufficient space for everyone.

Every body is welcome and no prior dance experience needed. Make sure to wear or bring comfy clothing and your water bottle.

About DJs
Raphael Hofman (he/him) is a Dutch-German producer & DJ based in Berlin. Born in Aachen he began DJing and organizing events at local Clubs at the age of 16. As part of a wide range of music-projects like Film- & documentary music (Theater Aachen, Zinnober Film), different bands (from alternative, as guitarist & singer, to electronica) & theatre productions his technical skills & music interest were intensified. In spring 2014, Raphael moved to Berlin to work for De:Bug Magazine Berlin and focus on further work with music. From September 2014 on he worked at Grise Agency Labelmanagement as social-media expert & nightmanager. The sound: set’s & tracks of Raphael Hofman are known for their special deep & dark sound, surrounded by different rhythmic structures & soundspaces, that could be classified into a mix of Techno, Tech House & elements of Detroit House. As he writes, plays, produces, sings & records everything himself on every single track, the productions contain a certain handmade roughness.
About the facilitator
Malte Steinhoff (he/him) is a certified meditation teacher, a DJ and the co-founder of b23. Over the years he deepened his practice through retreats and his time learning from a Yogi in an Indian ashram. The essence of his work are his own daily practice and his deep curiosity to explore the many ways we can connect with ourselves and others in the present moment, moving closer and closer to ourselves and a our innate inner sense of peace and well-being. His teaching approach can be described as simple, holistic, playful & heart-centered.
