About this Event
Friday Night Soul is a smooth, curated night of art and connection.
Curated by Brittany and Imani, two creatives who share the love of poetry, you're in for a good vibe! Featured poets from across NYC and surrounding states will perform. Friday Night Soul honors high-quality artistic expression and the power of community.
We're switching it up for this show! It will be a showcase and book release party that celebrates the release of Gabriel Ramirez’s inaugural chapbook If Pit Bulls Had a God It’d Be a Pit Bull, published by local women-owned bookstore and small press, The Head & The Hand. The program includes a poetry showcase of the author’s closest friends and colleagues as well as a reading of the chapbook and new works. The author will also have a book signing before and after the readings.
All seated guests must order at least 2 items from Korkscrew Bistro's drink or food menu.
