Front Tier Comedy return with another cracker of a show and headlined this month by Scottish comedy legend Vladimir McTavish!
One of the most popular - and certainly most successful - of modern-day Scottish comedians, Vladimir McTavish is a stunning professional in every sense of the word. Whether using his renowned skills as a top class compere or closing a multi-act bill as a first-rate headline act, Vladimir can adapt to any situation and let his quality shine through.Vladimir McTavish serves up a delightful feast of social observation and topical satire, seasoned with his caustic wit and presented via a platter of breakneck-pace patter. In addition to his headline appearances throughout the UK, Ireland, Holland and at the Norwegian Comedy Festival at Stavanger, Vladimir has appeared on a number of popular TV and radio shows. These have included ‘The Empire Laughs Back’ (BBC1), the football game show ‘We’re On Our Way To Wembley’ (ITV) ‘Velvet Cabaret’ (BBC Radio Scotland) and the ‘Live Floor Show’ (BBC Scotland).
Opening the show is musical comedian Eddy MacKenzie. Having trained at college in Inverness and Coatbridge, Eddy has spent the last decade undertaking a variety of professional acting work in Glasgow and across the UK.
He has performed in a number of local theatre performances, as well as a few open-air theatre tours over several summers.
Notable roles include Mr Toad in “The Wind in the Willows” and Sir Toby Belch in “Twelfth Night”.
He has also appeared in many short films, bringing to life a wide variety of characters, and has provided his voice for a number of roles, most recently being the voice-over for a series of underwear adverts for a Glasgow Kilt Shop!
He has lots of experience working with children as part of Pantomime/TIE tours of local nurseries, as well as several occasions playing Father Christmas.
Eddy is also an experienced musician and comedian, and enjoys performing his collection of silly songs for audiences around the country!

Special feature act this month is Dundee lad Steve McLeod. Dundee's finest comedian Steve Mcleod burst onto the scottish comedy scene in 2018 and is now one of scotland's rising comedy stars. Steve got hooked into comedy by attending one of our comedian recruitment open days.Since then he has over 100 shows under his belt, performed at the biggest clubs in the UK and has recently supported top names such as Larry Dean, Gary Meikle and Fred MacAulay and now performs all over the UK.His warm charm and funny will certainly cheer you up.
