Ease into the weekend with Rocksalt’s Friday night Live sessions — an evening of relaxed dining, seasonal plates and live music, all set against the backdrop of Folkestone’s stunning harbour.As the evening unfolds, talented local musicians provide the soundtrack to your night, with live performances spanning jazz and swing through to modern favourites.
Live music takes place in the main restaurant between 7:30–9:30pm.
Jazz vocalist and West End songstress Sarah-Jane Hassell brings an evening of timeless live music to Rocksalt. Her acclaimed career includes leading roles in Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Evita and City of Angels. Expect a sophisticated mix of jazz standards, sensual bossa nova and vintage pop classics, with songs spanning Gershwin to Cole Porter, Jobim to Sting, alongside a few surprises. Accompanied by pianist and composer Mick Bishop, this is the perfect soundtrack to a relaxed Friday night by the harbour.
