Downtown Lakeland is excited to bring Friday Night Live back as a monthly Spring live music series in Munn Park beginning at 6pm. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and grab a TO GO dinner and adult beverage from a Downtown Business! This event has a state liquor license, so you can leave a bar or restaurant with a TO GO drink to enjoy in Munn Park while you listen to the band. We are also super excited to build a limited vendor list for this event. (Vendor participation by invitation only. Applications not being accepted.)FEB 21 - SOFA KINGS
The Sofa Kings are a high-energy musical entertainment band that have been performing in and around the Lakeland area for over 25 years. Through the years they have the house band at several local establishments as well as the band for many downtown functions, such as Wine Fest, Swan Derby, Green Celebration, Sun ‘n Fun, Lake Mirror Car Show and other events. The Sofa Kings support the blossoming young musicians in our Polk County Schools. Members include Al Miller, Rich Mistretta, Jason Broderick and John Van Horn.
