Ira Summer is so funny, you don't realize that his material is clean. He uses his pain to make you laugh. As an aging Baby Boomer growing up in a large dysfunctional family, Ira has a lot to share. He appreciates his sons, siblings and mother because without them, he would have to write all of his own material.
Ira has headlined at clubs across the United States, performed at clubs, casinos, colleges and bars in 28 states, and can be heard on Sirius XM. He has been a finalist in the The World Series of Comedy and The US Comedy Contest, was the winner of the first Over 60 Comedy Competition. Ira participated in the Oakland Comedy Festival, the Comedy Fringe Festival, the Portland Comedy Festival, the Burbank Comedy Festival and the San Leandro Comedy Festival.
