your tutor will be Jennie LambFRIDA KAHLO TEXTILE WORKSHOP
Come and explore textile collage using recycled and vintage material scraps to create you own version of Frida. Your finished piece can be a piece of art or a panel to sew to a jacket.
We will be using free motion embroidery, hand stitching and collage.
You will shown how to choose an image and then to work with it to transfer it to textile and how to stitch to enhance the features. We will talk through colour choices and technique.
You will need to bring your own sewing machine with embroidery foot or the ability to lower your feed dogs to enable free
motion. (Hand stitching can be used)
If you don't have a sewing machine, we do have some available to rent on the day.
This class is priced at £60 for a four hour session. Everything else you need will be supplied for a small fee of £10.
