Shimmer is Chicago’s long-running shoegaze/dreampop/psych/indie dance party with DJs Scary Lady Sarah & Philly Peroxide (your Dancing DJs™) who spin a soundtrack of sonic incandescence, warm fuzzy walls of sound, and face melting guitars!
Expect new & classic shoegaze, dreampop, psych, space rock, ethereal & some indie dance music (and absolutely zero Drake or Bad Bunny and because we're a bit scarred from it so no "Mr. Brightside" at Shimmer ever again! IYKYK!) 😂
CHICAGO has so many cool bands in these genres and we love playing them & seeing them out at SHIMMER!
