Join us for an evening of powerful storytelling from the Middle East and North Africa region. The MENA Mini Film Festival brings together three compelling films that illuminate the lives, struggles, and humanity of people across the MENA world.

The Voice of Hind Rajab

January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A 5-year old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab.
The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and was nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards.

Vahid, an unassuming mechanic, has a chance encounter with Eghbal, a man he strongly suspects to be his former sadistic jailhouse captor. As the bickering group drives around Tehran with the captive, they must confront how far to take matters into their own hands with their presumed tormentor.
