oin us for this special event in celebration of YC’s 50th anniversary! Fresh Tracks is a documentary about WWII veteran and Cleveland native Paul E. Leimkuehler, who, after losing his leg in the Battle of the Bulge, became an innovative pioneer of adaptive skiing. Paul designed the first US ski outriggers, launching a movement for disabled athletes.Leimkuehler was also an integral pillar of YC’s history. Paul was a personal mentor and friend to YC’s founder, Mary Sue Anter Tanis. He joined the first Board of Trustees in 1983 and maintained a supportive role to Youth Challenge throughout his life.
We will be joined by Katie Leimkuehler, Executive Producer, and Mary Sue Anter Tanis, YC Founder. FREE PIZZA and pop will be served. We’re happy to provide tours of YC’s innovative home. We hope you can join us!
