You are cordially invited to join the Westlake Council of PTAs as we celebrate Founders’ Day! This year’s Founders’ Day Celebration will be held Thursday February 26, 2026 at LaCentre Conference & Banquet Facility. This evening is a celebration of those outstanding individuals who have dedicated their time and talents toward improving our Westlake schools and community by exceeding the mission and purpose of the PTA. Please join us as we celebrate the WE in WEstlake! Are you a Westlake PTA member of any unit and want to nominate someone for their outstanding service to children and youth?
It is time to recognize and celebrate those fabulous volunteers and educational professionals that give their all to the students in our district. Founders' Day is an event that celebrates these individuals. You know who they are. Simply complete this form to nominate them for an award.
*There are three different awards:
1. Ohio PTA Achievement Award- PTA member who has made a positive impact in the lives of children and participated in activities involving children and youth
2. Helping Hands Award^- PTA member who has performed outstanding service for youth at school or the community at large
3. The "T" in PTA Award*- certified educator within the school district who has gone above and beyond for their students
*Past Winners ineligible for category of award previously won.
^Helping Hand Award excludes principals, superintendents, teachers, counselors, librarians and other certified educators.

Please purchase your 2026 Founders' Day tickets here: https://westlakeptacouncil.givebacks.com/shop/items/1140032. Tickets are $40 until February 1st, and $45 from February 1st to February 17th. You'll have three delicious dinner options to choose from, all of which are gluten-free. We'll also have a sweet treat in store for you. Each ticket requires an entree selection and the name of the attendee. Here's a rundown of the event timeline: 6PM: CHECK IN / CASH BAR COCKTAIL TIME, 6:30PM: PLATED DINNER IS SERVED & AWARDS CEREMONY 8:30PM: DJ AND DANCE PARTY BEGINS, and 10PM: EVENT CONCLUDE.
