This family-friendly ride highlights recovery from addiction and the impact recovery has on individuals, families, and our communities.
Each year, we build a day that’s more than a ride. It’s an experience, built around connection, purpose, and a lot of fun.
It’s also our biggest event of the year, raising awareness and funds to help more people and families move from addiction to stability through treatment, housing, and ongoing support.
Registration opens on February 16th.
The ride will be held on Saturday, August 15th, with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Fresh Start Recovery’s Calgary
location (411 - 41 Ave NE, Calgary). We’ll start with a hearty breakfast, then riders and passengers hit the road for roughly 400 km of some of the best riding in the country.
This is a scavenger hunt-style ride. You’ll head out with your first clue and work your way through a full day of unique stops across rural and urban landscapes. Every stop brings a new activity and the next clue. We’ll wrap the day with dinner, the live draw of our motorcycle raffle and 50/50 winners, and a celebration of community.
The ride is an opportunity to be part of something real, alongside a community that believes recovery is possible and worth showing up for. You can support the day in a few ways:
• Register and bring your co-workers, friends, and family along for the ride
• Donate a monetary gift or a prize item (products or services). Prize donations may be awarded to participants or auctioned off. Monetary donations support Fresh Start’s programs and services. Donations valued over $20 receive a charitable tax receipt
