Fresh Perspectives : Tanjong Pagar

Tanjong Pagar in Malay language which means 'Cape of Stakes', deriving from its origin as a fishing village in the early 19th century.

Over decades, the area is known for its Terminal Port and also as a part of the Central Business District.

Tanjong Pagar has also been designated as a Conservation area under the Chinatown Historic District in 1989.

Through this tour, we are exploring fresh perspectives of this part of Tanjong Pagar for more than what it is through landmarks, spaces and stories from its past and present.

The meeting place for the tour is at Tanjong Pagar MRT Station (EW15) at Exit A (Street Level).

Walking tour will start at 10am (kindly arrive at least 5mins before 10am) and end around 12pm.
