Can you believe it’s been 18 years since the very first Fresh Jamz Happy Hour at the Parkway Lounge?!What started as a simple way to gather has grown into something much bigger: a community touchpoint. As life gets busier and fuller, it’s harder to stay connected to friends, former colleagues, and the people who make Oakland feel like home. Fresh Jamz has always been about creating that space, and it brings me real joy when people share how these nights have helped them stay connected over the years.
The anniversary party is our chance to celebrate it all:
old friends and new, the community we’ve built together, and the positive work happening all around us.
