OMG! It’s stout season and if this picture doesn’t make your mouth water….The Red Earth Brewers and The Brew Shop anniversary party is about a week away! To celebrate, Frenzy Brewing will release a special anniversary milk stout Monday November 3 at 3:00.
Here are a few details about Frenzy and this special release called “Udderly Delicious”.
Why did you choose this beverage?
No good reason. Stout season is approaching and I haven’t ever brewed a Milk Stout. I thought it would be fun to try something new to me. Reminds me of my homebrew days to brew something because I want to, not because the business dictates it.

Recipe?
10 gallon batch
15 lbs 2 Row
2 lbs Roasted Barley
1.5 lbs Chocolate Malt
1.5 lbs Crystal 60
1.5 lbs Munich
1 lbs Flaked Barley
1lbs Flaked Oats
2 lbs Lactose – 2 minute addition
1 oz Nugget – 60 minute addition 21.3 IBU
2 oz EKG – 10 minute addition 5.9 IBU
White Labs WLP001 California Ale yeast or equivalent
